2012 Arizona Cardinals Preview: Three Early Training Camp Concerns

By Mike May of Bleacher Report

With an 0-2 start for the Arizona Cardinals in the preseason, there's plenty of blame and criticism to hand out. While it's still early and there's certainly no reason for any kind of alarm, here's three players I have singled out as thus far having struggled the most in preseason.

Levi Brown:
As the fifth overall pick in 2007, it goes without saying that Levi Brown has been a disappointment for the Arizona Cardinals. While his run blocking can be labeled as solid, he continues to struggle in the area of pass protection.

In the second half of last season, it appeared as though Brown was making strides in that area. Still, the Cards chose to release Brown this offseason, allowing him to test his value in the free agent market. This experiment lasted a mere few days as he was resigned on March 16th.

My observation: Brown needs to do a better job of finishing off his blocks. I still think he can be a solid left tackle in this league; stability at the quarterback position certainly wouldn't hurt either
